Plan Your Finances

Understand the costs associated with your education. We offer a breakdown of tuition and fees for each program to help you plan for your future.

Proof of Finances: In addition to tuition, international students are required to show proof of finances to support their stay. For 2024, a single applicant must demonstrate they have at least $20,635 CAD (in addition to tuition and travel costs) to meet living expense requirements.

Registration Fee: A deposit of $500 CAD is required to secure your seat. Upon acceptance, this $500 is credited toward your tuition. This fee is non-refundable unless a written withdrawal request is received within 4 days of signing the tuition contract.

Meet Admission & Language Requirements

All international students must meet CITCM’s admissions criteria, including English proficiency. The following are acceptable proofs of English language ability:

  • TOEFL iBT: Score of 60 or higher, with at least 18 in each section.
  • IELTS: Overall score of 6.0 or higher in each skill category.
  • Canadian Language Benchmarks Assessment (CLBA): Minimum score of 7.

Prepare Your Documents

The following documents must accompany your online application:

  • Official Transcripts: Copies of your high school or post-secondary education certificates.
  • Letter of Intent: Describe your motivation for studying acupuncture or massage at CITCM.
  • Two Letters of Reference: From employers, instructors, or professional peers. Ensure that documents not in English are officially translated. Please do not send originals; you may be required to provide official documents after acceptance.

Submit Your Application

Fill out our online application form at least 6 months before your intended program start date. This allows enough time for application review and study permit processing. CITCM offers intakes in April and September.

Wait for Contact From Admissions

After submitting your application, the admissions team will confirm receipt of your application package. If accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter and tuition contract within 10 business days. To secure your place, you must sign the contract and submit a $500 CAD deposit via international bank wire transfer. Once the signed contract is received, our Admissions Office will send you a copy for use in your Canadian study permit application, along with other documents required by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (IRCC).

Secure a Study Permit

Once accepted to CITCM, international students must apply for a study permit through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Review IRCC guidelines on eligibility and processing times before submitting your permit application.
