Licensing & Accreditation
As a CITCM student, your path to becoming a Doctor of Acupuncture, registered acupuncturist, or TCM practitioner is clearly defined.
To practice in Alberta and across Canada, students must pass the Pan-Canadian Exam, which is developed by the Canadian Alliance of Regulatory Bodies of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CARB-TCMPA). This exam ensures labor mobility across provinces and is an essential step toward registration.
CITCM’s programs thoroughly prepare you for this and other regulatory requirements, boasting high success rates in both written and clinical exams.
